Diabetic and the Holiday Season" |
Registered dietitian Dena Mayer, Berlin Memorial Hospital, will be the featured speaker during this special Diabetic support group meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 8th in the lower level meeting rooms of Berlin Memorial Hospital, 225 Memorial Drive. In her presentation, Mayer will provide helpful information about diabetic nutrition during the holiday season. American Red Cross First Aid and CPR |
Learn important lifesaving techniques with CHN’s Proformance Workplace Services professionals three programs in November. Infant CPR is offered from 6-10 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14th, Child/Adult CPR is offered from 6-10 p.m. on Thursday, November 15th and First Aid Basics takes place from 6:30-9:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 29th. The two CPR programs are held in the BMH lower level meeting rooms, while the First Aid program will take place in the lower level conference. Prepared Childbirth and Breastfeeding Instruction |
Prepared Childbirth
This six-week session teaches
expectant mothers and their 'coaches' child-birthing techniques. Prepared
Childbirth is offered from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesdays, November 6th-
December 11th in the BMH Lower Level Meeting Rooms. Registrations can
be made by calling (920)361-5521; there is a fee.
Breast Feeding
Instruction
This
class introduces and reinforces breastfeeding techniques for the new mother and
her baby. Breast Feeding Instruction is
offered from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, November 12th in the BMH Lower Level
Meeting Rooms. Registrations can be made by calling (920)361-5521; there is no
fee.

Monthly support groups are free and open to everyone!
Functioning With Arthritis meets at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 15th at the Green Lake Senior Center, located at 266 Scott St., in Green Lake.
