Oshkosh native Lynn Kleman has joined the Community Network Health family as the Executive Director of the CHN Foundation.
The Foundation’s mission is “To support the health and wellness of people living in our service communities,” and Kleman intends to live out this mission in her new role. “I look forward to working with the members of the communities within the CHN service area as well as the entire CHN family to continue providing support to individuals in need as well as expand our mission to philanthropically support the services provided by CHN and its affiliates,” states Kleman.
Kleman brings to CHN and the communities a wealth of education and experience in the philanthropic area. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, and has achieved Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credentials in 2005.
Having worked in the development/fund raising field for 25 years, her professional careers offers a wide-range of non-profit experience, including her work with the Association for Retarded Citizens, Unified Catholic Schools in Oshkosh, UW Oshkosh Foundation, and Aurora Health Care Foundation. “Joining CHN as the Director of the Foundation offers a great opportunity for me to use my education and past experience to help grow an organization that is deeply committed to the communities they serve,” comments Kleman.
The goal of the CHN Foundation is to provide area children and families with supportive funding to help meet healthcare needs otherwise unattainable. Through the dedicated work of the Foundation’s Director, Volunteer Board of Directors, Volunteer Committee Members, Administrative Staff, and most importantly their donors, they are giving hope to families living in the midst of negative realities. Kleman is ready to take on the challenge of educating the communities of what the CHN Foundation has to offer.
Kleman resides in Oshkosh with her husband Rob of 21 years, along with their two children Robbie and Katie. She stays very active supporting her teenage children in their athletic and music interests, and takes time for herself by partaking in long distance running.
Kleman’s office is located on the CHN Berlin campus, where she joins Development Specialist Karen Simolon. “Together we are going to make a great team and are excited to share successes of the Foundation,” said Kleman.
