Juliette Manor Goes ‘Virtual’
Juliette Manor resident Mrs. Kalupa may not be able to enjoy spring weather yet, but she is enjoying the sights and sounds of spring, courtesy of a virtual bird feeder that plays on the newly installed 46” television in the facility’s south lounge. The picture and sound quality is top notch, and it appears as though you are truly watching birds through a window. Pictured with Kalupa (left) is Activity/Restorative Care Co-Director Alyse Paulsen (right) who explains, “Our residents love the sights and sounds of the virtual experience. The sensory stimulation is very soothing for them.”
Community Health Network, Agnesian HealthCare in discussions
Community Health Network (CHN), Berlin, and Agnesian HealthCare (AHC), Fond du Lac, have announced that both organizations have committed to pursue discussions of a formal affiliation between the two healthcare systems.
The CHN Board of Directors and the AHC Board of Directors have given full support to continuing the conversations necessary to pursue a stronger partnership in the months ahead.
Community Health Network Provides State-of-the-Art MRI Services
Community Health Network (CHN) has acquired a new state-of-the-art high definition magnetic resonance imaging system (MRI) that is available at Berlin Memorial Hospital. Unlike the mobile unit of the past, this equipment is a permanent addition to the Diagnostic Imaging department, providing doctors at CHN with highly detailed pictures to help them evaluate a wide range of conditions, including stroke and musculoskeletal injuries.

Community Health Network Expands Orthopedic Services
Community Health Network is very excited to announce the addition of Jeff Meincke, MD, as their newest Orthopedic Surgeon. Dr. Meincke will be teaming up with CHN Orthopedic Surgeons David Jones, MD, and John Horan, MD to provide clinical excellence and optimal surgical outcomes. Dr. Meincke brings with him over 12 years of experience, and will begin seeing patients on October 8, 2012.

Jared Kohlenberg, DO, has recently joined Community Health Network, providing services at CHN Medical Center – Green Lake. He is a family practice physician who provides pediatric, obstetric, adolescent, adult and geriatric health care services.
