Dr. Nelsen is a graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Medicine. He completed his residency at St. Michael's Hospital it Milwaukee. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Family Practice.

He offers OB care in the clinic setting working in conjunction with the Family Birth Center at Berlin Memorial Hospital.
