Wine & Roses - Vintage 2011

When and Where is Wine & Roses?
Wine & Roses will take place on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Waterfront Grill in Green Lake. The event will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 9:00 p.m.

What is the attire at Wine & Roses?
In general, the attire is dressy casual; casual chic or business casual. (Denim is strongly discouraged.)

What is the cost of attending Wine & Roses?
Tickets are $25.00 for advance purchase, or $30.00 at the door. We accept cash, checks, and credit cards.

How do I purchase a ticket?
There are 3 ways to purchase a ticket to the Wine & Roses event:

  • Stop in the CHN Foundation office located at Berlin Memorial Hospital. Purchase tickets by cash, check or credit card. Our offices are located directly behind the switchboard;
  • or Use your Charge card for direct purchase of your ticket(s) by calling 920-361-6524;
  • or Mail your request to us indicating the number of tickets needed along with your check to: CHN Foundation, 225 Memorial Drive, Berlin, WI 54923. (Checks must be received by February 3, 2011.)

Can I bring my children to Wine & Roses?
No; this is an adult event, and minors under the age of 21 are not allowed into the event.

What is Wine & Roses?
Wine & Roses is a wine tasting event. There will be wine vendors at the event pouring their wines for your tasting pleasure. In addition, there will be gourmet chocolate paired with wine; as well as appetizers and hors d'oeuvres served from the Waterfront Grill presenting a delicious example of their restaurant's fare.

Can I buy wine at Wine & Roses?
Because of strict Wisconsin Alcohol laws, you will not be able to purchase wine at the event. However, the wines that will be served will be available at local retail stores.

Will there be other beverages available besides wine?
The Waterfront Grill will have a cash bar available to serve you. Water and soda will be complimentary to our guests.

Who benefits from the “Wine & Roses” event?
The CHN Foundation has designated funds available to help area children, adults, and families who are experiencing financial strains due to serious medical problems. All of the monies raised from this event will go to the Michael D. Chier Memorial Fund for Adults with Special Medical Needs. Your participation in this event helps us to continue to increase awareness of our Foundation and help raise funds so we may continue helping our community members.

Will there be a raffle? What about a Silent Auction?
Yes, we will have raffles during the course of the evening, including your chance to win a “1.0 ctw (one karat) chocolate diamond pendant”. We will also have Grand Raffle Tickets available (your chance to win a flat screen TV and Wii system package; an Apple IPAD; and a Garmin GPS). There will be plenty of Silent Auction items to bid on. We’ll have wonderful baskets full of assorted goodies, and lots of little extras for your enjoyment.

NEW! Shuttle Service Available
Leave your car in the Berlin Hospital parking lot and leave the driving to Mascoutin Transportation who’ll chauffer you from Berlin to the Waterfront Grill! Courtesy pick up from Berlin Memorial Hospital in front of the Medical Office Building covered entrance beginning at 5:45 p.m. and again at 6:30 p.m. to the Waterfront Grill in Green Lake. Returns from Waterfront Grill beginning at 8:30 p.m. and again at 9:15 p.m. (dependent upon number transported – all times are approximate). To use this complimentary service, you must reserve your spot by calling Karen at 920-361-6524 prior to February 4th. 

Credit Card Information

  1. Your purchase will appear on your credit card statement as “Community Health Network”.
  2. Ticket Purchases:
  3. Tickets purchased in advance will be sent directly to the address provided.
  4. Tickets purchased on or after February 1st will be held at the Registration entrance located at the Waterfront Grill for pick up.
  5. The last day for phone orders is Thursday, February 3rd.
  6. Phone orders end at 4:00 PM on Thursday, February 3rd.
  7. All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds.
  8. Due to Event set-up, we will not be able to return any phone calls/messages left after 4:00PM on Thursday, February 3rd.

Your TWO PART ticket is for your admission; the second part of the ticket is for a raffle drawing during the evening which will make you eligible to win the following exclusive prize:

A two (2) Hour Champagne Cruise for up to 12 guests on Big Green Lake. This spectacular raffle item is generously donated by Waterfront Grill and Marina. You and your guests will have a cruise chauffer who will not only steer you around Green Lake, but will also give you and your guest’s unparallel access to the beautiful waters of Wisconsin's fifth largest lake. Green Lake is the deepest inland lake in Wisconsin and is centrally located in south central Wisconsin.
Be sure to bring both parts of your tickets with you.
