Mr. Douglas Guy has been the Chief Executive Officer of Community Health Network since October 2006.
Prior to his position at Community Health Network, he served as a consultant of ProHealth Care, Inc., which is now in partnership/affiliation with Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital (OMH). Prior to his consultation services, Guy served as the CEO of Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital for 11 years. During his leadership at OMH, there was a seven percent growth per year in ambulatory care and a four percent growth in inpatient admissions. While under his direction, OMH had a gross revenue of approximately 100 million.
Guy was also the Senior Vice President/Chief Operating Officer at Sinai Samaritan Medical Center in Milwaukee for four years, and the Vice President for Center Operations and other positions at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA for 12 years.
Educational background includes an MBA, Major in Health Administration, from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Vermont in Burlington.
Guy is a member of the American Hospital Association, the American College of Healthcare Executives, and is active in organizations in his community of Oconomowoc. He is also on the faculty at Concordia University. For personal interests, he plays the bagpipe and is 1st degree black belt Tae Kwon-Do.
