Community Health Network Hosts Health Fair

Free Sleep Seminar—‘Sleep Well, Live Well’

Community Health Network will host its 12th annual Healthy Living Fair, a free event for people of all ages, from 3:00pm-7:00pm on Thursday, May 30th at the Town Square community building, 492 Hill Street in Green Lake. Although this is an annual event, this is the first year that it will be held at the Town Square building.

This year’s event is bigger and better than ever, with over 40 vendors on site. They will provide free health screenings, free promotional items, light snacks and the opportunity to register for door prizes.


Vendors available that day include:  1st National Bank, Aging and Disability Resource Center, American Tissue Services Foundation, Arbonne, Berlin EMS, Berlin Fitness, Beyond Organic, CHN Diabetes Education, CHN Diagnostic Imaging, CHN Dietitians, CHN Family Birth Center, CHN Home Care, CHN Juliette Manor Rehabilitation and Long Term Care, CHN OB/Gyn, CHN Pharmacy, CHN Rehab/Sports Medicine, CHN Sleep Lab, CHN Speech and Language Specialist, CHN Surgical Care Center, CHN Volunteers, CHN Wellness, CHN Work Well, CHN Wound Care, Christine Ann Center/SANE/ASTOP, DuPuy Orthopedics, Fitness Friendzy (Zumba), Green Lake Area 13dot1, Green Lake County Nurses, Green Lake Greenways, Home Instead Senior Care, Lions Eye Bank, LinCare, Philips-Respironics, Positive Influences Wellness Coaching, ResMed, Rosendale Chiropractic Office LLC-Dr. Lisa Roth, Synthes Spine, US Cellular, Wildtree Natural Foods, and Zopec Medical.

Although the types of vendors will be very diverse—covering various areas of health and wellness, one area of focus will be sleep health. A free keynote address will take place at 6:15 pm by CHN Sleep and Occupational Medicine physician Eric Newgent, DO. Dr. Newgent’s presentation, titled “Sleep Well, Live Well” will center on the importance of a good night’s sleep and how to diagnose and treat obstructive sleep apnea.
